Class Policies

 

MISSED CLASSES: If your child misses a class, there will be one make up class held at the end of the session. This make up class may or may not be held on the regular day of his/her class. If he/she attends a full class (8 to 10 children), the make up class will most likely be held on the regular class day. If he/she misses more than one class during a session and you would like to have another make up class, special arrangements may be made with Elaine. All classes must be made up during that same session.

 

PAYMENT: When signing up for a new session, a deposit of $100. must be paid to hold your child’s place in that class. This policy will be observed for ALL students. Classes are very full this year. The balance is ALWAYS due on the first day of class. If you are not sure how much you owe, please contact Elaine prior to the first day of class. Due to the number of late payments and numerous phone calls last year, there will be a late fee of $10. if tuition is not paid by the second week of class. If you need to make special arrangements to pay for your child’s classes on a payment plan, please contact Elaine before the start of the session.

 

ILLNESS: If your child is too sick to attend school, then he/she should not attend art class that day either. If your child has a contagious illness, he/she should make up the class at the end of the session.

PICK UP: Please be prompt in picking your child up after class. Please wait outside the gate until class is over, as arriving early can disrupt the young artists. If you are unable to get here on time because of an emergency, please call to let me know. 310 390 2434
