All children are gifted with a unique and imaginative way of perceiving the world. If a child is taught to imitate imagery produced by adults at a very young age, he/she will lose touch with that special and creative self within. My classes are designed to help children develop self-confidence and grow creatively through encouragement of individual expression.
Throughout the session, children in all age groups will work with a variety of traditional art materials, such as clay, watercolor, tempera and acrylic paints, charcoal, pastels and printing materials. Children also make use of materials found in our natural environment.
